CHARTER OF ETHICS

A Philosophy of Ethical Business Practice to be supplemented by an internal Code of Conduct

Our organisation believes in and supports the pursuit of business to improve the material well-being of the whole society through:

  • the provision of goods and services.

  • the creation of opportunities for men and women to use their unique skills for their own development and that of society.

The achievement of these goals is honorable and deserves recognition and reward.

All organisations have a choice whether or not to use ethical means to achieve these honorable goals. In this regard, we believe organisational practice should be measured by moral standards comparable to to those applied to individual behavior.

The stakeholders of our enterprise have an ethical duty to increase the enterprise's productivity, while protecting the physical, intellectual, material and emotional well-being of each other and members of the public.

We believe the essence of this ethical duty involves:

  • providing value for customers;

  • communicating internally and externally with integrity;

  • maximising contributions to the enterprise with due reward; eradicating dishonest commercial conduct.
